Asaf Hanuka’s illustration for the cover of the Chicago Tribune Sunday Magazine story on how many Poles who once flocked to the Windy City are now going back to Poland.
this is a picture of me waiting for the Blue Line, from 1997.
(and for the record, this Pole is temporarily dwelling in New York City, but he fully intends to return home to Chicago once he’s made his zillions.)
