going to the movies by yourself...

Totally awesome and confidently badass. It proves that, while having somebody is awesome, you can survive being alone just as easily. I’ve always felt that I could be completely happy with or without that “special someone” in my life… it would just be two different kinds of happy.

going to the movies with friends = fun

going to the movies by yourself = …also fun! (shocker!)

luckily for me, i happen to be one of the people i enjoy most in life, so i’m always down to hang out just the one of us … and while i haven’t graduated to eating alone at fancy restaurants yet, i’ll frequently check out a movie, concert, or a cubs game, as a solitary scattered single.

(that being said — if anyone’s trying to meet up for the yamagata or lamontagne shows later this fall, i’m happy to double/triple/bunch up. just give me a shout.)
