2) the reading/writing issue you describe only brings one thing to mind, and that’s an episode of Batman: the Animated Series where the Mad Hatter trapped him in some kind of dream world to keep him out of the way. Batman says he eventually figured out that he must be dreaming because he was having trouble reading books.
Yeah, I always think of that episode when I wake up. Maybe it’s affected my ability to read in dreams since childhood?
yours and mine both, i reckon. and to top it all off, apparently everything that Batman said is complete hogwash. wikipedia says there’s no good reason we can’t read in our dreams. except that batman told me not to.
