This is huge if you live in NYC, kay maybe not huge there are like 25,940 stores across this fine city and they’re all about to get a major face-lift! The new logo is definitely an improvement, I mean it would be a hefty challenge to make one worse than the current logo, but to me it still seems very Illustrator 201—like this designer was just learning to use the circle and pathfinder tool. The typography is nicely done however, and overall the logo looks a lot more modern which is always a good thing. More over at brand new.
